Locating Graves at the Wheaton Cemetery

First-time visitors to the Wheaton Cemetery are strongly urged to call the Cemetery office to learn the location of a particular grave. Grave numbering is irregular because in the past numbers were assigned sequentially as new sections were opened.

Cemetery staff can access computerized grave information and fax or mail a map showing the location of a particular grave.

Family historians will find the Wheaton Cemetery's records invaluable in ascertaining detailed information about ancestors. Dates of birth, death and interment are generally available. Headstone inscriptions and data about other individuals buried in the same plot can lead to revelations about deceased children and other spouses.
